Deconstruct a bag and reconstruct it into a shoe.
Shoes and bags are items used on an everyday basis, by everyone. When shoes no longer serve their purpose as shoes, we throw them away, but what if you could reconstruct your shoes into other useful everyday items such as a bag.
This is an extreme example of recycling and it also shows that there is more to recycling than just throwing away glass bottles and cans in a recycling bins. If you decided to follow this process of deconstruction reconstruction, it doesn’t necessarily have to be for your own use.
YOU NEED:
· 1 bag that no longer fits its purpose as a bag
YOU MUST:
· You must only use a needle, thread and glue for the reconstruction process
· You must take visual evidence of your step by step process; this can be by videos, photos or both.
· You must only use the material from the item you have deconstructed e.g. bag material only for reconstruction of shoes
· You must not use any other materials for the reconstruction
Remember evidence is needed, documents, photos, videos etc … For this i will make a Stop Motion effect video using Windows Movie maker
